Yujia Ma (b. 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Zhejiang, China.

She makes art to play and to heal — bathing and breathing in the space between the tongue-in-cheek and the serious.

Her work moves intuitively across materials, themes, and forms, where patterns can be found in her workflow and aesthetics.

Serendipity is valued as much as technique, since, to her, randomness does not exist in this reality.

Yujia received her MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in May 2025 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Babson College with a concentration in Marketing.

She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
